5 or Less

Now I am no Juila Childs or Rachel Ray, but I like to pretend now and then. To do this I use simple and quick recipes. I strive on the fact that it is 5 ingredients or less. I love it when there are items I have in the house already or know what it's calling for. Here is a recipe any non-baker can accomplish that is delicous and of course full of chocolate!

Chocolate Fudge Cookies
(from allrecipes.com)

Ingredients:
1 (18.25 oz) Pkg Devil's Food Cake Mix
2 eggs
1/2 Cup vegetable oil
1 Cup semi-sweet Chocolate Chips (maybe 1/4 cup more for good measure)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease cookie sheet
2. In medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, eggs and oil until well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll the dough into walnut size balls. (may have to press then roll, so chips stay in.) Place the cookies 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 8-10 minutes (so say 9 minutes) in a preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
4. Enjoy!
