Back to School

Summer is coming to an end and we are getting geared up already for Back to School events at RLI. Currently I am sitting in Saginaw, MI as I have training tomorrow with a group of K-8 teachers on their new reading program. I am excited for the event.

Today's travels weren't too bad. I had a late morning flight from CWA to Chicago with a lay over with just enough time to grab lunch. Up and away I go to Saginaw. I landed today in a small County airport on the out-skirts of town. No lines, so I quickly pick up the keys to my rental car. The gentalman had said...just push on the brake hard and push the start button. Okay no problem, however when I get in my car...it just has a place for a key-well thats normal. so thinking the guy had his cars mixed up and the ignition tricks, I soon realize I am in the wrong car. G3..not the spot of G6. The Malibu was nice...however i was supposed to be in the Altima.

Well on we go...and located the Holiday Inn Express-which is surrounded by shopping!

So tonight I decided I better do a little work first...so I got on my computer-no internet (but obviously I got on) but it was only after an hour with the help desk at work. So I check emails, all good at the home front, then decide to go locate the school...good thing as I had a few detours and no GPS either. Well I finally made it there, turned around and stopped for dinner.

I dined at the Red Lobster. I'd give it a B+, well I was pretty full, so maybe an A-.

So thats is my story of my travels to Saginaw today..not bad. I am hoping for a great day of training! After this busy rush of Back to School slows down, I hope to have more time to devote to my everyday amusements, laughs, stories and pictures to share with you all...but until then have a great day!
